As Director of Contracts and Procurement, Ms. Hunt owns all customer and supplier relationships, in addition to the business processes that support those relationships. She developed and maintains the compliance of the company’s DFARs compliant Purchasing System. Pre-award, Ms. Hunt is an active member of the capture team working to optimize execution plans for the benefit of the customer mission. During program execution, she ensures the fulfillment of contract deliverables and manages all subcontractor relationships and deliverables, resolving issues to ensure excellent client service. Ms. Hunt also serves as ACT I’s Corporate Ethics Officer.
Ms. Hunt brings more than 25 years of experience in operations, supply chain/procurement and compliance to her role at ACT I. Prior to joining ACT I, Ms. Hunt held a series of key leadership roles at Fortune 50 companies in the disciplines of price/cost analysis, program affordability, supply chain compliance and contract negotiation. During her tenure at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, she worked on critical military procurement projects ranging from new product development to refurbishment and sustainment of the legacy fleet. As Category Leader for Strategic Alliances Hewlett Packard, Ms. Hunt was the architect of the bilateral commercial contract between Hewlett Packard, Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the company segregated assets to create two separate legal entities.
Ms. Hunt earned a BBA/Management Finance from St Edward’s University and an MBA with a Concentration in International Business and Monetary Policy from Texas Christian University. She served as a member of the Neeley School of Business, Executive Alumni Board from 2009—2015. Ms. Hunt is an active member of the National Contract Management Association, former President and current member of the National Association of MBAs and a member of the Phi Beta Delta International Studies Honor Society.
