ACT I Celebrates 20 Year Anniversary
ARLINGTON, VA (February 13, 2018) — Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, LLC (ACT I), an industry-leading provider of Total Acquisition Management and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) solutions, is celebrating 20 years of business. Since its founding in 1998, ACT I continues to deliver senior level expertise to the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and International Partners.
“It gives us great pride to celebrate ACT I’s significant milestone with our customers, employees and business partners. Each day we provide our Government customers with innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. We look forward to continuing this essential support and attaining our corporate strategic goals,” said Mr. Michael Niggel, ACT I CEO.
ACT I celebrated the anniversary of its founding on January 20th at the Ft. Myers Officers’ Club in Fort Myer, Virginia. The 200 attendees included ACT I employees and many distinguished visitors from government and industry. Mr. Niggel addressed the importance of building upon ACT I’s twenty-year legacy of delivering exceptional total acquisition management and FMS solutions across its critical national defense, homeland security, and healthcare programs. He introduced ACT I’s newly-appointed key executives – President, Mr. Neil Albert and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Claudio Monticelli. Both will lead the company’s program management, cyber, and FMS support services expansion in Defense, Homeland Security, and Healthcare markets; and target new lines of business to include space, intelligence, and advanced cyber.
Mr. Albert, who joined ACT I as President after nearly 30 years with MCR, LLC added that, “utilizing robust technologies and systems, ACT I will refine and advance our internal corporate and external customer support processes to provide world-class support to our U.S. and Allied Government customers. In addition, ACT I will be looking for focused merger and acquisition partnerships to complement and expand our existing capabilities.”
Finally, Mr. Monticelli, who was recently promoted to COO, shared with attendees that, “as ACT I continues to grow, it is imperative that we maintain a corporate culture committed to supporting our customers’ missions and operating with the highest degree of integrity and honesty.” He continued, “the work that ACT I technical staff performs on behalf of our customers is bolstered by an experienced corporate team.
