ARLINGTON, VA (November 14, 2017)—Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, LLC (ACT I), an industry-leading provider of Total Acquisition Management and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) solutions, was awarded a Task Order under its GSA OASIS Small Business Pool 1 contract to provide the U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Marine Force Storage Center (MFSC) with Equipment Sustainment Support for up to three years. Specifically, this contract will provide specialized equipment sustainment including Care of Supplies in Stores (COSIS) of component managed and completion support for designated commodity families of Ground Weapons System (GWS) equipment sets in both Albany, Georgia and Barstow, California.
“We are honored that the MCLC selected ACT I to support their augmentation efforts to complete reset and achieve in-store Approved Acquisition Objectives (AAOs) for specific GWS equipment sets. We look forward to providing inventory accuracy, equipment completeness, proper condition coding, and readiness for issue of the GWS equipment sets,” said Mr. Michael Niggel, ACT I CEO.
This contract builds upon ACT I’s existing logistics and maintenance capabilities supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO) in Arlington, VA as well as the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center’s Ground Maintenance Terminals in Colorado Springs, CO.
The MCLC’s MFSC has exclusive responsibility for Marine Corps enterprise-level distribution management and for planning and management of storage operations for ground weapon system Principal End Items (PEIs) and associated collateral materiel. The MFSC effects the most reliable distribution of all classes of supply to sustain readiness of forward deployed forces, while maintaining CONUS-based operations.
