ACT I Awarded Subcontract to Provide Engineering Support to the F-35 Program Office

Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, L.L.C. (ACT I), an industry-leading provider of Total Acquisition Management solutions, was awarded a subcontract by Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) under its Seaport-e Task Order contract to provide the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) with Engineering Support on behalf of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office (JPO) over the next five years.

“We are very pleased with this award to provide our engineering resources to BAH and the F-35 JPO to build upon our long-standing relationship with the F-35 Program offices in Arlington, Virginia and across all the various F-35 Field Sites. ACT I is delighted to support a program that is critical to our country and our international allies,” said Mr. Kevin Fischer, ACT I’s F-35 Chief Engineer and Program Manager.

This contract award builds upon the company’s existing scope of work with the F-35 Joint Program Office that includes Business/Financial Management, Cost, Earned Value Management System (EVMS)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Support, and Engineering support.

The F-35 JSF Program is the Department of Defense’s focal point for defining affordable next generation strike aircraft weapon systems for the Navy, Air Force, Marines, and our allies. The F-35 will bring cutting-edge technologies to the battlespace of the future. The JSF’s advanced airframe, autonomic logistics, avionics, propulsion systems, stealth, and firepower will ensure that the F-35 is the most affordable, lethal, supportable and survivable aircraft ever to be used by so many warfighters across the globe.
