ACT I Announces Angel Hunt, Senior Manager, Contracts
ARLINGTON, VA (October 24, 2017)—Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, LLC (ACT I), an industry-leading provider of Total Acquisition Management solutions, announces the addition of Ms. Angel Hunt, as senior contracts manager to the corporate leadership team.
“Ms. Hunt’s background in the areas of contract negotiation, contract management and administration, cost control, and regulatory compliance will enhance our contracting capabilities and support ACT I’s continued growth. We are pleased to have her as an integral part of the team,” said Mr. Michael Niggel, ACT I CEO.
During her tenure at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Ms. Hunt built and led a team of 50 cost and price analysts and negotiators who successfully negotiated all major subcontracts on LM’s F-35 production program, and she supported a number of critical affordability initiatives for aircraft programs including Lockheed Martin’s bid for the first ever multi-year procurement of the F/A-22, procurement support to major F-35 Teammate proposals, and prime proposal support to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procurements for both the F-16 and F-35 programs. She later transitioned to lead the regulatory compliance group which was tasked with monitoring changes in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), instituting and maintaining procurement procedures to align with those requirements, auditing for compliance, and serving as the coordinating manager for all Government and third-party audit agencies.
At Hewlett Packard, Ms. Hunt led and managed the firm’s supply chain work stream during the company’s divestiture of a series of business units. She designed the strategy and oversaw the execution of the conversion of the company’s internal business relationships to third-party contracts as each sister division became its own legal entity, while maintaining a cost neutral impact to both companies. Concurrently, Ms. Hunt led a team of contract professionals who maintained the day to day business operations of the company.
Ms. Hunt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from the Neely School of Business at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She has served three consecutive terms on the Neely Executive Alumni Board which supports the business school in developing facilities, scholarships, and career networking.
