Mr. Puttmann is a strategic and transformational leader with proven talent in building cross cultural government and client relationships. He gained extensive personnel experience while serving in the U.S. Army Personnel Command as both an assignment officer and running manpower requirements.
During his military career, he oversaw and supported base operations at the multi-functional U.S. Army Pacific Command, which was the MACOM of U.S. Army forces in Asia and the Pacific Basin. He supervised the full range of installation management functions and services working with 3,000 employees across a spectrum of labor categories. His key responsibilities included recruiting and hiring key personnel, addressing personnel concerns with labor unions, and monitoring civilian regulatory and compliance requirements.
In 2006, he retired as a Colonel after serving 30 years with the U.S. Army. His final assignment was Chief of Staff to the Israeli U.S. Security Coordinator to support the Palestinian Authority security sector reform.
Mr. Puttmann is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute where he earned a BA. He holds an MS in Public Administration and an MS in Military Arts and Science. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Senior Service War College attending the Advanced Operational Arts Studies Fellowship (SAMS).
